LIVING AREAS Main Floor Common Room With a bright and open concept, the main floor is designed to create a space where families can comfortably enjoy time together, whether you’re whipping up a masterpiece in the kitchen, hanging out at the dining room table or kicking back on the couch. There’s also a desk area for your convenience if you need to catch up on a few emails.
Recreation Room You’ll find a large and comfortable recreation room on the bottom floor. This is a huge benefit to families with kids who want to have their own space to spread out and enjoy the large-screen TV. It’s also the perfect spot for a family movie night in. Complete with a games table and lots of board games.
BEDROOMS Enjoy a peaceful rest in any one of our light and airy bedrooms. Decorated in calming neutral colours with comfy beds and cozy luxe linens, you’ll want to take your mornings slow and stay in bed just a little longer.

CHEF`S KITCHEN The timeless and beautiful design of the kitchen begs for large, yummy meals to be made here. If you’re the chef in the family, you’ll love how immaculate and new everything is, from the large double-door fridge, glass stovetop and the large island to spread out dishes and let your family help themselves. No need to worry about if you’ll have everything you need, as it’s well-equipped to prepare whatever’s on the menu.
Included Supplies: - Full set of pots/pans/platters for large meals - Serving utensils - Complete set of knives - BBQ tongs - Coffee maker (Drip) - Blender - Fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a toaster.
Included Consumables: - Coffee, tea and sugar - Salt and pepper - Ketchup, mustard, and relish - Dishwasher tabs - Paper towel.
OUTDOOR SPACE Another reason why staying at The Timbersmith is so enviable you’ll be able to spend your time out on the sizeable second-story deck for family meals or just to sit, have a drink and take in your surroundings. Below is a ground-level patio with a walk-out from your recreation room where you can step right out your door to enjoy the private hot tub.
When you stay here, you’ll be nestled among the Purcell Mountains with alpine views of the Rocky Mountains.
PARKING You will have access to a dedicated outdoor parking area for up to 4 vehicles. Please note that street parking is not allowed in this neighbourhood.
CONSUMABLES Please note that we provide a starter supply of consumables (toilet paper, paper towel, coffee etc.) but do not provide refills during the stay.
CHECK-IN/CHECKOUT After booking, you will receive access to your personalized guest portal, with information on the property and its amenities. 3 days prior to check-in, you will receive detailed check-in instructions and directions to the property.
We have set up a seamless entry for our guests. There will be no reason to slow you down upon your arrival. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there`s something you need during your stay with us.

NEIGHBOURHOOD When you stay at The Timbersmith, you’ll be close to:
Windermere Public Beach: Just a short drive away, you will find the public beach of Lake Windermere’s eastern shoreline. Here you’ll find: picnic tables for eating with the family, shallow water, perfect for swimming with small kids, and ample space to launch a kayak or stand-up paddleboard.
Radium Hot Springs (16.6km): In just over 10 minutes, you can be at Radium’s famous natural hot springs, where you can experience soaking in a blend of scentless minerals that’ll leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. This excursion is something you definitely have to have on your vacation itinerary.
The Whiteway (7.8 km): A 30km multi-use trail groomed for cross country skiing and skating. It was granted the world record as the longest maintained skating trail by the Guinness Book of World Records. You can find an access point at Kinsmen Beach and Windermere Beach.
Golfing: Copper Point Golf Club is only a 4-minute drive from The Legacy Cabin. You’ll also be close to Greywolf Golf Course, a world-renowned course ranked among the top 15 best courses in Canada and perfectly positioned against the backdrop of the Purcell mountains. Also close by is Windermere Valley Golf Course, The Ridge at Copper Point & Eagle Ranch Golf Course.
Panorama Ski Resort (25.4 km): A world-class ski destination that the whole family can enjoy with incredible skiing and snowboarding, heliskiing, skating, shops, bars for after-ski, and so much more.
The Farmer’s Market - Enjoy shopping for fresh produce and local specialties every Saturday morning at our town’s local market.
**STAIRS REQUIRED** Please note that a small set of stairs is required to access each of the living areas of this home.
**BEACH & SPORTS COURT ACCESS: Please note that as of June 1, 2026, short-term rental guests are no longer able to access Timber Ridge`s private beach, tennis courts, and certain marked-off walking trails due to new strata regulations. Instead, guests are welcome to use Windermere public beach, just a short drive away.**
To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, and pass through our verification portal.
Important note: The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.
Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following: * You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions. * You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in. * You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.
HOUSE RULES: 1. Please respect the neighbours and the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is a noise monitor in the unit that will test decibels throughout the day.
2. No parties or events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit cannot exceed more than 10 people.
3. There is no smoking permitted on the property including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.
4. Although up to two (x2) pets are permitted on the property, we ask that you please keep them off the linens and furniture. Any excessive dog hair or damage will be charged to the guest`s name on the reservation.
5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.
6. Hot tub use should be restricted to 30 minutes and avoided by anyone who may be pregnant. After each use, it is the guest’s responsibility to add 1 cap of boost granules (chlorine granules) into the middle of the hot tub while the jets are turned on for 20 minutes. Please leave the lid open for 45 minutes and remember to close the lid to avoid turning it into a cold plunge! We find that this is best done at the end of the evening as the hot tub should not be used for 3 hours following the chlorine cycle. If you remove the chlorine floater during your use it is the guest’s responsibility to make sure it is placed back in the hot tub after each use. We ask that if you are enjoying a beverage in the tub you only use plastic cups. If the hot tub water is not properly maintained and requires more than 1 site visit for maintenance and/or a full drain and refill, there will be an additional charge of $400.00.
7. Please note that as of March 2026, short-term rental guests are no longer able to access Timber Ridge`s private beach area, tennis courts and certain marked off trails. Instead, you can enjoy Windermere`s public beach just a 7-minute drive away. Please abide by the community`s posted signage at all times. Thank you.

This property provided every convenience you might need while away. Lots of seating to enjoy a movie or game downstairs as well as loads of room upstairs to sit and visit and enjoy a meal together. We enjoyed the trails and the close access to them from the back yard. Great getaway with extended family.

Perfect family getaway
Clean and beautiful house that was perfect for our large family vacation. Space for kids to play, great for cooking big family dinners. Hosts were very responsive. We would love to come back next year.

Perfect for family reunion!
We rented two houses from Aisling Baile for a large family reunion of 16 people (Timbersmith and Modern Tides). Both houses were gorgeous, clean, comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed cooking large meals, eating on the deck, soaking in the hot tub, and playing games after active days enjoying the incredible scenery around Invermere. Highly recommend!

Recent Golf Trip
Property was great and exactly as advertised. We had a busy 3 days there with lots of golf but the house was close to a lot of courses in the area. My only suggestion would be to add AC to the unit in the future to make it even better but other than that it was great.

Fantastic rental
Kitchen was very well stocked with anything you’d need, all beds were very comfortable, and the house was very clean. Lots of small amenities such as toys for children, games, puzzles, etc. We utilized all of these! The hot tub was clean and instructions on maintaining it were very straight forward. Contact with the property manager was very easy and always timely. It was a lovely experience! Our only small complaint was that the thermostat was turned all the way down when we arrived, the house was at 8.5 degrees Celsius, quite chilly. We quickly turned it up and left for dinner, the house was nice and warm when we returned. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would come again!
