Cottage a Windward Coast

“This is a pretty new house that is located up in Mākaha Valley. It has a beautiful view of the mountains above the valley. It is only a short drive down to the local surfing beach as well as other local beaches. Our party of six was very comfortable here. ”

“We had a wonderful stay. Property was as pictured. The biggest challenges we found is that the area you need to drive through to get to the property is very run down. The property is about a 30 min drive from any safe amenity such as a grocery, gas station etc. If you want to just stay in one place your whole trip this is the place. But if you want to explore around it is not. I would have liked the property to have also listed that there were things like - washer and dryer, hair dryer, general...

“I am conflicted about this place. On the one hand: great house. Beautiful. Clean. Full with amenities and very practical. On the other hand: the location is weird. The gated community is great. But outside after two mini you reach the coast and it’s full with homeless in tents. And driving towards HNL it’s at least 30min of this. So from the house there are no close by nice beaches or restaurants. Some fastfood close by in front homeless are sleeping. I don’t understand why you build such an...

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a lush and tropical yard and cozy cottage.the location was perfect across the street with several beach accesses and a few blocks from lanikai beach.the cottage is nestled in a beautiful neighborhood.our gracious and accommodating host Lynn and her family provided everything we needed we will miss our new friend junee”
