“Excellent service from check in to check out, rooms were big, rooms were serviced everyday and althoigh i didn't have dinner at the hotel the breakfast was excellent. Managed to use the gym, pool and steam room whilst staying at the hotel. When staying in Telford again i will make sure i book again at the Mercure. “Lovely clean modern apartment. Just what we needed for 1 night stay, 2 Adults and 3 Children, all slept comfortably. 2 double beds in one room and a pull out double bed in the lounge area.
Only issue if you like to sleep in darkness, the bedroom goes dark well at night with the 2 double beds but the lounge area has a glass ceiling with no pull down blinds/curtains so in the summer, could be a issue. However, my 14yr slept well all night as she usually sleeps with a curtain/blind open.

“I don't know what to say other than I have sent my review to YHA with "top marks" for everything. From the friendly welcome received on check-in to the cleanliness of the room allocated, everything was absolutely perfect for the overnight stay. I slept very well & enjoyed the morning coffee in the café downstairs. It was all spot-on and excellent value for money. I will recommend to friends and I would like to book to stay there again. ”

“It's very close to some of the Iron bridge attractions, close to the river Severn, and within fairly easy walking distance to the town centre. The room we had was a family room, so more than big enough for us. There was no air conditioning, but a large ceiling fan kept the room cool . Food in the restaurant was excellent. ”
