“The room appeared to be recently renovated and was clean, comfortable, and quite spacious. The bathroom was also a good size, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. The carpet was in very good condition noticeably better than what I have experienced at several other hotels during my travels in Australia. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant first impression.

“My husband and I have been staying at Novotel north beach for over 25 years and I have never had a more disappointing stay.
Everything from the check in to the price of parking, the breakfast, to the filthy glass on the balcony, the entrance steps alone are putrid. I request late check out at 12 and at 11 two women bash on my door asking when I am leaving... at 12 as requested!

“The room was completely run down, carpet stained all furniture beaten up, bed had huge dips in it. The entire room was a disgrace. This is not a nice hotel and should be rated 2 star at best. I cannot believe Mantra leave it in their portfolio. The staff were wonderful and helpful but the hotel is in appalling condition. ”
