“The hotel was great. The rooms were clean for the most part. The floors weren't vacuumed well enough. I saw bits of garbage behind a chair and on the bathroom floor. The front desk was great. However, when I checked in I wasn't informed of the bar's specials for the week. I don't know if they weren't offered over the weekend but I overheard someone who was checking in on Monday being told that there was some bar special later that evening. I didn't want to pry, so I never inquired about it, but...

“Everything about this place met all of my expectations! The fitness room was great, the pool and hot tub area was a treat we enjoyed daily. One day, the outlets in the vanity area and the fan/light in the bedroom went out along with a problem with the entrance door not closing easily. “We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is a great location and less than 10 minutes to the beach! The room was good, not great. There was sand in the bathtub when we arrived and trash under the pullout sofa. The bathroom was spacious. Loved the large closet for extra space. Comfy beds. “We stayed in a handicap room the rails in shower had visible of red mold. The rest seemed fine but it makes you wonder if they deep clean rooms. Also I went to breakfast and there were no eggs and the waffle mix was out before 9”

“Horrible stay. We walked in and turned right back out. Dead cockroach’s in the kitchen. Floors look like they had not been swept of mopped. What topped it off for me was the bathroom not clean and the LIVE cockroach I found on the pillow. The smell of the place was nasty. Had kitchenettes but you had to go ask for everything at the front desk. Very gross, will never be back.”

“The hotel was recently renovated and is very clean, the rooms are spacious. The housekeeping schedule is not clear and shouls be explained upon arrival. Supposedly only after every second night, but you can be then pleasantly surpriaed when you don't expect the room to be cleaned and it is... Expedia advertises that the breakfast is included for $15 per person. In reality, you then receive at the hotel reception a $15 voucher for the restaurant on site which offers a good breakfast a la carte...

“I got what I paid for—it was an affordable room for a one-night stay near Wrightsville Beach. However, I would not choose to stay here again. Upon check-in, the front desk had me sign a strict no-smoking policy, yet when we entered our room, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. As a parent traveling with my children, this was concerning. Unfortunately, it was late in the evening and we weren’t able to make other arrangements, so we made the best of the situation for the night.”
