“This is a great weekday value as you can often stay for under $240 a night. Weekend can run $400-$500. That is not worth it to be honest. Breakfast is very continental but decent. Room is very large and bathroom is excellent with great water pressure in the shower. The inn manager Caroline is awesome. ”

“The staff was very nice and helpful in regards to parking near your room. We enjoyed the complimentary Danish pastries and coffee in the morning. The pool towels could’ve definitely been bigger and thicker but luckily the pool was heated.”

“Nice rooms but the wall mounted air conditioner was in the bathroom. You had to keep the bathroom door open so the cold air could get in the main room. Made taking a shower and going to the bathroom very cold and inconvenient.”

“We loved our stay at the Winston, as did our dog Mocha. Even though there was is no staff permanently at the hotel, whenever we did cross paths with them, they were very helpful. One of them was so kind as to put their employee microwave out for us so that we could warm up our dogs food. the room was larger than we expected and was absolutely beautiful. Parking was easy and check in was as well once we figured it out. Will stay again!”

“The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Parking next to our room as well as in front of the hotel. Just outside of downtown Solvang so not a lot of noise or foot traffic. Walked to shops, eating places and enjoyed it all. Definitely would recommend”
