“It's Alaska, so it's different. We live in Fairbanks and were meeting family that flew in from the lower 48 and were boarding a cruise. It was a turn-and-burn, one-night stay. The hotel room was super clean, bed was super comfy, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was close (walkable) to an IGA grocery store, a liquor store, and an Alaska State museum. Totally recommend!”

“This beautiful, classic hotel is right in the hear of Skagway, allowing for easy access to all of the nearby local restaurants and tourist attractions. We had a small problem with our bathroom, which the staff quickly attended to. If you want breakfast buffet (a separate expense) make sure to show up early as they pick up pretty quickly.”

“The staff is very accommodating. Bear spray can be borrowed for excursions out into bear territory. "Breakfast" is self-serve and available 24/7 with a wide selection of quick grab items, including bagels and cream cheese, donuts, pastries, bread, cereal, coffee, and juices. Laundry is available 24/7 with no additional charge. The staff will do pick-up/drop-off service to/from the airport with schedule. The bed was incredibly soft and clean. A great place to stay in Sitka.”

“This was a pleasant surprise- front desk staff upgraded us to a suite with views of both harbor and mountains when we told them it was my partner’s birthday. All staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Location is right in the downtown area near all restaurants, shops, and public transit yet quite quiet. Our 3 night stay was excellent! Facility could use an update, but it was absolutely fine for us especially with the spacious...
