Hotel a Minnesota nord-orientale

“Great location, very clean, quietest room we have ever stayed in. Wonderful breakfast. Charming extras…outdoor fire, outdoor games, nightly smores bar, hot tub/sauna. Free convenient parking.”

“It was a good experience. The staff were all kind and helpful. The room was clean. The lobby was nicely decorated. Two things could be improved: 1) Our floor halls had a slight smell of cigarette smoke that we chalked that up to it being an old hotel — another floor’s hallway had little or no such odor, so it seems nothing that carpet replacement would not take care of. 2) We parked on the upper level of the nearby ramp, which seemed safe. The lower level was poorly lit, so we did not park there...

“The service at the Grill was utterly chaotic, with items delivered out of order or not at all until servers (there were several, and it was never clear whether anyone was in charge) were reminded. The food at the Grill was unremarkable at best. Service, food, and prices were much better at the bakery.”

“Fun coffee shops and retail shopping close by. The decore and ambiance of the hotel were wonderful. No real staff was onsite, but the gentleman who was bartending downstairs was very accommodating. we encountered a few too many "unhoused individuals" near by though.”

“Quaint and charming, quiet, close to dining available at the casino, not too far from highway for access. Perfect stop on our road trip from Minneapolis to Canada. Hot tub not open but pool was pleasant. ”
