“After booking I read mixed reviews online and was a bit nervous for our stay, but once we arrived my concerns were quickly gone. The property is located in a great spot right off the beach and within about 5 minute walking distance from plenty of food and stores. “My partner and I wanted to take a weekend trip to Bethany without having to shell out a bunch for renting a house. The hotel was a bit further from the beach than intially expected, but the walk wasn't bad at all. The staff let us check in early and park at the hotel since we arrived way before check in. Room came with vouchers for 2 chairs and an umbrella which was very nice as we didnt have to lug our chairs with us. It also came with 2 Orange Smash drinks which were good too (just make sure...

“Not the cleanest room we've stayed in, but I feel like it's a trade off when staying 5th and lower on the boards, you get convenience but give up some cleanliness overall. Our sink in the bathroom almost fell off the wall while we stayed 3 nights... BUT the AC worked we had ocean front and could easily get to the beach through the stairwell near our room. At over $400 a night during peak times, they REALLY NEED to start putting that back into the property. It's falling apart.”

“The room we stayed in was kind of small but for a weekend with just two stay it would do the job. I wouldn’t put no more than two people in the room we stayed at. The staff was amazing and I had a great time. Will be booking again ”

“The Wellington exceeded our expectations for an inexpensive hotel. It was less than 2 minutes to walk to the beach and boardwalk. The room was updated and clean, but had blinds on the one window and a light outside of it so it was never fully dark. It is also not accessible for anyone who cannot do stairs. That was fine for us, but could be an issue for others. They also have a narrow parking lot so anyone with an oversized vehicle would need to find somewhere else to park The beds were super...

“The hotel itself is a bit dated but it is clean and well maintained. We had an ocean front room on the 2nd floor and the location cannot be beat. I would stay here again. The room was nice and cool and the hotel was quiet. It is just a few steps to the boardwalk and beach. “Cute hotel right on the beach. Room was spotless and beds were comfortable. Despite being fully booked, it was quiet at night. Staff were really nice and let us know that staying here allows you to access the amenities at the Aloft hotel on the bayside. Be aware that there is a fee for parking, but that street fills with beach goers, so I didn't mind paying for a guaranteed spot.
