“I stay here a lot. The traveling band I play with plays in OBX much of the summer.Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is good for someone looking to spend time on the beach. The free breakfast is always a good way to start the day. I will continue to stay here as long as I visit the OBX.”

“Let me say - the location can’t be beat if you’re going to play at the beach. There’s a public beach access right across the street - for the price, that’s great. When checking in, I needed to wait for about 10 minutes before the front desk person came back from whatever they were handling. The hallways were littered with trash bags and linens in front of nearly every room. Taking a shower was a dangerous affair - especially for children - as the temps would swing from ice cold to the hottest...

“This place was a great find. Looks to be an older building that's renovated and everything was very clean and had nice touches through out. There was a broom for sweeping sand up. The front desk was friendly and available for help. We got a snack of caramel corn upon checkin. There's a water spout for rinse off after the beach. The beach wasn't too crowded. “Posto molto gradevole a conduzione familiare. Super rilassante. Camere un po’ piccole ma molto pulite. A 5 minuti di strada a Swansboro ottimi ristoranti e bei negozi. Vivamente consigliato!!”

“We stayed one night at the Seahorse, and the biggest advantage is definitely the location. It’s right by the pier and only about a two-minute walk to the beach, making it incredibly convenient if you want easy beach access.
The motel itself has potential. Our room was spacious and included a kitchenette, which was a nice bonus. However, everything felt very dated. The cleanliness was questionable, and there was a noticeable odor in the room that made the stay less comfortable.

“The pool was nice. Breakfast was fine we had to wait pretty long for towels etc— when they were delivered the wash cloths were grey and very stained - looked like cleaning rags. Also, while I understand dogs are permitted, I don’t think they should be in the area while breakfast is being served. Overall, it was disappointing considering the cost of the room.”
