“We booked using Expedia, and paid over $540 for one night! The room did not have a sofa bed as advertised when booking the room. The staff was notifed and stated they had issues with the sofa bed and it had been removed. The hotel took only $50 off of our stay for this big inconvenience. The breakfast was ok. I definitely would not spend that amount of money again to stay here.”

“The staff were very friendly. However, the front desk does not stay open at night. Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal but I had to reset my room key after each use. Luckily, we didn’t lose one and we kept asking the staff to reset it so we always at least one key that would work. Our friends were in another room and never had a key issues so it was just our room 220. Rooms were clean. Location is great, especially for the ferry and shopping. Check in and check out and easy.”

“The inn is old so know you are going to hear people above you and doors closing. Very creaky floors. The check-in was ok. The woman was very rude. “Nice older hotel. No microwave or fridge in room. No bike parking, needed to move bikes in the evening down a block next to Doud’s market. Didn’t hear other guests’ noise in the evenings as we have in other Mackinac hotels. Sauna/pool area was a very nice amenity. The little balcony was a good enough space in the mornings for coffee and got no direct sunlight, which was fine for us.”
