“If you need two beds and a bathroom this is a good motel. There are no frills. There wasn't any shampoo or conditioner just two small packages of bar soap. There was no alarm clock. There was a little refrigerator, tv and dresser. But it was exactly what we needed for a very reasonable price.”

“Very impressive. Had an excellent stay at the cabin. Too generous with their guest as they provide every amenities that you need to be comfortable. The view from the room is amazingly picturesque. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to be connected to the nature. ”

“We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to...

“We loved our stay here. The property was super clean and quiet. The hot tub and grill both worked as advertised. One thing worth mentioning is that the last mile of road in is a single lane, gravel road, that not only crosses through what appears to be a creek but is also quite steep and rocky. While we managed in a Tesla model 3, I wouldn’t advise it, particularly if it is wet. ”

“12 stars!!! (Inside joke with the host.) The place was clean and spacious and the host was great. I brought my son here for his 29th birthday to hike the rocks. The cottage provided everything we needed including a spectacular view of Seneca Rocks. Centrally located to many areas of interest. I’ll definitely be back. ”

“This gem is close to the Appalachian highway but nestled amongst trees shading the back deck. I woke to horses in the adjacent field whinnying. Beautiful kitchen. Nice open floor plan that opens to dining and living. Lovely rooms upstairs. The bed I slept in was quite comfy. The complex has a heated pool, a volleyball court, a fire pit, a basketball court, a tennis court, a horseshoe pit and a catch and release pond with gazebo. “The Farmhouse on the River was one of the best rental properties we've stayed at. Private. Comfortable. Excellent communication. Peaceful. Relaxing. The river is beautiful. The yard is expansive and a great place for playing with our dog. The house is clean and welcoming. The location cannot be beat! It is quiet and private, yet stores, restaurants, hiking, fishing, and more are so close. We will absolutely return! ”
