“Lovely room. Keswick Suite has seperate sitting area in tower with panoramic views to the western hills. Meals were very good and the service was excellent. Shout out to the staff in all areas of the hotel for their friendliness and attention.”

“It’s on the road to the lake, just outside Ambleside Our room was clean and well appointed. There are no reception staff - but very clear instructions regarding access to the property are sent to you before arrival and further information is provided in the room. We were here for one night and it was ideal for our short stay. ”

“Excellant breakfast choice and period of which this was great. Gym facitilities were ok but not all appeared to be in working order. Cleaan pool. Jacuzzi, steam roon and sauna. Grounds were nice and well kept.”

“L albergo non è male la camera era grande con i servizi un po' datati ma il confort non è stato il massimo per il malfunzionamento del riscaldamento che durante la notte si faceva sentire temo esterna 3/4 c alla fine ci siamo lamentati e ci hanno fornito una stufa elettrica ”

“I booked this hotel as a romantic getaway for my partners birthday we stayed in a superior room with a sea view and it was exactly that, absolutely beautiful views the room was small but cosy the bed was more than big enough, and the staff were lovely and nothing was too much hassle. The place itself is beautiful and reasonably priced breakfast was included and we were asked then night before roughly what time we would like it. “Friendly welcome, lovely spacious room with plenty of well placed plug points. Good size bathroom with toiletries. Room was serviced every day and small bottles of water replaced. Walkable in to town centre albeit uphill on the way back. Would stay here again and would recommend.”
