“Very nice room. The pool was small. But the food was great and reasonably priced. Beach and water looked nice. Lots of people come here to eat. It’s a good 20 minutes to the town and airport but nice to be away from the busy area. Some people I met come here every year. ”

“Highly recommend! Hotels closer to the reef might not be as luxurious and comfortable; Hotels more luxurious won't be has as much marine life or as good for snorkel. This is def the best of both. Room as clean and beautiful as the photos show. We saw more varieties of fish snorkeling around the dock than going out for a snorkel tour. The Hol Chan marine reserve had better spot for snorkeling than the one near the island, so you can take tours somewhere else and just enjoy your time around the...

“L' arrivo a Placencia dopo parecchie ore di bus è stato un pò deludente. Per circostanze fortunate abbiamo potuto, con un piccolo supplemento, cambiare la stanza con una nettamente migliore al piano superiore. Il soggiorno si è poi rivelato molto piacevole, nonostante il meteo un pò variabile.”

“A Belizean Nirvana is exactly that: nirvana. It’s an amazing gem that does everything right, and the care that the owners put into it shines in every detail. The location can’t be beat — right on the water and in the heart of Placencia, surrounded by great restaurants and things to do. Extremely comfortable and spacious room. And we loved that on the mornings when we had tours and had to leave before breakfast started, we could arrange to have breakfast delivered to our room the night before.”

The villa’s private pool was such a treat, and the location couldn’t have been better…tucked away enough to feel serene, yet still within walking distance of a charming bistro, bowling alley, and several other spots. “STAY HERE! The best experience I’ve had at any resort ever. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the island itself is right out of your wildest dream. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky. But trust me, you will not care! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I wouldn’t miss for anything! No other vacation has compared. ”

“The location of coral cove is stunning, directly on the beach which is combed every day and lined with palm trees, just beautiful. Free kayak and bike hire is a great bonus, which we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a bit basic and the only vegan breakfast option was fruit, but overall we loved our stay here and would definitely come back. ”
