“This is a lovely hotel in a great location. My room was gorgeous and had the best nights sleep I’ve had in years, as the room is sound proofed. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Just a few things to be aware of. This hotel is quite expensive to book, and it’s a little cheeky they charge an Additional cost for parking, £25 for the night. It does not have aircon so is quite warm. The food and drink are overpriced. (Recommend going elsewhere) However, it is a lovely hotel and you can’t...

“The hotel is ideally situated - while not being in an immediately picturesque location, its proximity to the M6, A66 and Penrith North Lakes railway station make it the perfect base for exploring the beauty of the Lake District in one direction and Yorkshire in the other. The staff are excellent, particularly in the FYR restaurant: friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is equally impressive and the hotel itself is clean, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. ”

“We stayed for a weekend at The Ro hotel and had a lovely time. The staff are all friendly and work so hard. The hotel it's self is slightly dated in some areas but that adds to it's charm. We also used the wellness centre and would definitely recommend it. It's really clean and modern with lots to offer. The hotel is is really central to windermere, we were able to walk everywhere easily. We'd definitely stay here again.”

“Jeg bodde her 1 natt ifm biltur i Lake District. Stedet ligger meget kort gåavstand fra Windermere sentrum. Parkering skjer på hotellets område Jeg ble meget godt tatt imot av vertinnen, men etter innsjekk var det lite å se av personalet Rommet hadde fin størrelse med de nødvendige fasiliteter; - vannkoker med kaffe, te og kjeks - TV - WIFI men ikke AC - stedet tilbyr utlån av vifter. Baderommet hadde også grei størrelse. Alt var godt rengjort og vedlikeholdt. En god og rikholdig frokost...

“This place was a dream. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is right across the street from Dove Cottage and a short walk into Grasmere to see Wordsworth's grave. There is also a convenient bus stop right across the street if you are traveling without a car. “We have absolutely loved our stay. The area is beautiful, the hotel is quiet, pretty and boasts amazing views of the area from all Points of the hotel. Dinner was worth having here as the food is great. We’ve loved everything about this place. We didn’t get time to use the spa but it looked lovely Would highly recommend ”
