At first I was going to book my own guides, but opted instead to book the cruise's siteseeing package. Glad I did, Hamad our guide was outstanding and there can be delays in the cruise do to timing in the river locks which could make coordination with outside guides difficult and stressful. ...

"GOOD: Great location with a calm Nile view. Big and comfortable room. Different swimming pools. Well-equipped gym. Good buffet breakfast with vegetarian and vegan option. NEGATIVE: parking is far from the reception. it's supposed to have a golf car bur it was never around. We ordered vegan burger but was vegetarian with mayo inside. No late check out available but we could take a shower in the gym facility (cold shower). "
