“Premier room was tatty… curtains had hole in them, some off hooks, bed throw had mark on it. Despite asking for the room to be serviced and leaving the sign on the door - it wasn’t - I was told they missed it because I was at the end of the corridor!”

“When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen. “Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Lovely building - a little wear and tare but a large property to maintain! But overall, very atmospheric and I would definitely go back there to stay Fantastic food both breakfast and evening meals ”

“Do not stay here, it needs demolishing. If you are desperate for somewhere to sleep consider getting a sleeping bag and sleeping on the streets! It was a walk in, walk out and find another hotel scenario!”

“Clean & comforts, but there’s no table which even can’t have a simple breakfast. Have 2 sofa which are no use for us. It’s better to have a table & storage drawer.”

“Hotel was amazing. And staff so happy and willing to make your stay that little extra special. Food was delicious and everywhere clean and tidy. Highly recommend Hotel. I will definitely be returning ”
