“Impressed with my accommodation. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Bathroom was spotless, as was the kitchen area. Felt safe and secure. Online check and electronic key were seamless. No issues accessing building or room.
I also left a jacket behind after checking out. I contacted the staff and arranged for them to post this home to me. I was incredibly grateful for their help. Kept in contact and informed. ”

“Just a place to take a good weekend break from everything. It was our 2nd time. Only complaint was that it was too warm to sleep at night. They didn't have any electric fans for us. We will be back in winter next time.”

“Booking was for room only which was fine. Self check in worked well and I was allowed to arrive early which gave me time to explore the area. I walked from the ferry terminal which was only 15 minutes away. There is sufficient car parking at the hotel. Very quiet and pleasant room. Very comfy bed and everything very clean. Local pub good for food in evening. Interesting watching many massive lorries sounding their horns when going past the outside diners! ”

“We're a family of five with three young children and finding comfortable rooms to house all five of us are usually hard to come by. I was delighted to find a large room waiting for us with central partition; all the children's beds (one double one sofabed) all made up. There was plenty of room to fit us all. I normally sleep poorly in hotels and in particular usually find a lack of pillows but can honestly say I had the best night's sleep I have ever experienced in a hotel. Access to the pool...

“The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham.
We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere.
The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills.
Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus.
We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.”
