“The look of the hotel is very unique. If you like an old fashion feel it's the hotel for you. Clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the windows are as old fashioned as the look of the hotel so being so close to the Riverwalk it can get quite noisy at night. We used the laundry which unfortunately does not accept foreign credit cards. Without the staff help we wouldn't have been able to do the washing.”

“This was a fun place to stay. The property is showing some age but is being well maintained. Staff was super responsive when we said the smoke alarm chirped - they took care of it right away. The only concern was unexpected-in the middle of the night I was up to use the bathroom and saw a cockroach. Ew”

“The location is the best part of this property and the only reason to stay here for the price. The staff is very friendly but for what they charge, there are much nicer options not too far away. The rooms we were in were in desperate need of an upgrade, as well as the plumbing. ”

“While not on the river walk it is just a block away and there is plenty of urban shopping and plenty of restaurants and nightlife withing a couple of blocks. Valet parking is 51.22 with tax per. Nice little kitchen in my room. Water pressure is excellent in the shower, walk in, with glass door. Bed and pillows were great. Carpet, as usual, is not clean. I would stay here again. Only 1 elevator working.”
