“Great service and great location. The hotel was literally steps away from The Alamo. It was 2 blocks away from the Riverwalk and very safe to walk at any time of the day or night. Police patrolled this area 24 hours a day. ”

“If you want the River Walk experience, this is the spot. I’ve stayed here multiple times and keep coming back. The location is unbeatable, right on the River Walk and walking distance to everything. Staff is consistently great, the pool is a highlight, and it’s a nice touch that you can get poolside drinks delivered. Only minor downside is check-in can be slow, so plan for that if you're checking in on Saturdays. ”

“The look of the hotel is very unique. If you like an old fashion feel it's the hotel for you. Clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the windows are as old fashioned as the look of the hotel so being so close to the Riverwalk it can get quite noisy at night. We used the laundry which unfortunately does not accept foreign credit cards. Without the staff help we wouldn't have been able to do the washing.”
