“Renovations in the lobby are happening but the rooms are newly renovated and are stunning. Best views on earth. Restaurant is pricy but great food. Good fishing from the beach. Watched sea otters play from our room.”

“Beautiful, clean, updated hotel with restaurant and bar with delicious food and right on lake hood, nice view from the restaurant patio of Float planes landing and taking off. Shuttle to downtown or airport.”

“Beautiful property.. Great staff!! Everyone was very helpful and nice. Food and drinks were priced fairly.. which is more than can be said about the room rate! Crazy that locals get a price break and they make the non residents bend over ! Sure would like to understand that logic. The tram to 7 glaciers is a must if you stay there ! ”

“Last week room had no furniture except bed and desk. Found out in true Alaska style the truck with the new furnishings for the entire hotel has yet to arrive. They are doing their best! Also excellent salmon fishing in the river across the street. Enjoy!”
