*** NEW DOCK May 2025. Beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath lakefront home on Lake Tillery. Abundant natural light spills into window-lined sunroom, which serves as living room & offers stunning, unobstructed lake views. This home is located in a quiet cove (Jacob’s creek) perfect for kayaking & swimming with plentiful wildlife & picturesque views. Multiple adult and kids kayaks, and 2 stand up paddle boards included in rental. Feel free to bring your boat and tie up to the private dock! New kitchen appliances, & updated light fixtures adorn open concept kitchen/dining area. New LVP floors in all bedrooms. Large computer niche in master bedroom, perfect for working remotely. The in-ground boathouse is perfectly suited for lakefront relaxation. A 2-bay covered boathouse & pier is a short, gentle sloping walk from screened-in porch, lined with Edison bulb string lights all the way to the pier. Due to allergies, pets not permitted. Also, no parties and no smoking. Pontoon boat not included in rental. All beds have plush pillowtop mattress toppers. All rooms have black out curtains and one room has a sound machine, pack and play, and toddler cot.

Home is 10 minutes from Stony Mountain Vineyard, Uwharrie Mountain Trailhead, downtown Albemarle, and Morrow Mountain.

Great for family with kids

We didnt end up using any of the water toys but it was great to have the option and the several sizes of life jackets was very convenient. The two smaller rooms are great for little girls! My daughters loved the rooms. The only complaint i have is that the AC was limited to 69° and we are used to sleeping cooler. This rule was also not listed on the original rules sent to us.

The property was very clean, host was very responsive, the lake was wonderful, and the host allows renters to use their kayaks and fishing gear. we had an amazing time, and really enjoyed the property.

Fun Beautiful Stay

We had the most fun. Beautiful home right on the cove part of the lake. No boat traffic. My kids enjoyed the swing! The hammock was also nice. Variety of life jackets. We also toured the little cove with the kayaks. The house was beautiful and so very clean. Beds were amazing! We hated to have to leave. Houses are close but neighborhood was quite. We hope to be able to come back soon!! Thank you Amanda for sharing your lake home! We enjoyed ourselves so very much.

What a great place for my first trip to Lake Tillery. Since I am a North Carolina native and alumni of UNC-Chapel Hill I liked the references to UNC basketball and to Chapel Hill.

Relaxation on the water

Great place for kayaking and paddle boarding. From the boat dock we enjoyed watching osprey catching fish, turtles swimming by, fish catching bugs and blue heron and snowy egrets flying by or sunning themselves on tree branches.

Great location in a cove that was pretty quiet.

We loved the property but the two smaller room were really small. The boathouse would only open up so far because I think it was off the track. Easy to walk down to the lake, with minimal steps. Lots of great outdoor space to enjoy. Where the property was located, the water is very shallow and you sink so trying to swim was a challenge, but we would go to the Sandbar and swim.

Five stars all the way!

The house and location were perfect for our fishing trip. Very clean and neat, everything looked new and the house had all the essentials (nice linens and bathroom towels, good WiFi, Roku TV, gas grill, etc). Enjoyed the screened porch and boathouse deck and the dock with electrical hookup was convenient. Being at the end of the creek made for virtually no boat/jet ski traffic and a nice view of the cove. Overall just a great place to stay. Thanks for sharing it.

Great location with cozy accommodations

Ideal spot up Jacobs Creek with little boat traffic, perfect for us self powered boaters. The 3 adult kayaks and 1 SUP save lugging your own. Awesome outdoor areas: dock, and patio- like roof of in ground boat house are great for grilling, eating, relaxing. Abundant wild life provide nature's "soundtrack". The house is comfortable and clean. Perfect for weekend away.

The perfect Lake Tillery get away

A group of us always get together around the holidays and Amanda’s property + a property 4 houses down on the same road fit all of us perfectly! Amanda’s home is clean, as described and check in/out was so easy! If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s comfortable, on the water, with all the amenities/space to have a great time on the lake book Amanda’s property! If you haven’t been to Lake Tillery before, it’s a hidden gem. We had couples coming from Charlotte (1 hr drive), Raleigh (2 hr drive), Greensboro (45 minutes-1h drive) and a few more that are close so it was the perfect spot to host.
