Hotel vicino a Alberton House - Auckland

“The balcony is really nice. The toilet door doesn’t shut. Make my room light go off as I pull the card out, so room cleaning was not done. Despite telling the staff and at the reception verbally, the making the room was not done for 2 days during my stay.”

“l'hotel è situato in posizione ottima per visitare la città sia a piedi che in auto ( è provvisto di cortile interno per parcheggio).”

“Great location. Handy to motorway and city. Quiet with little traffic. Room was as described and what we needed. Bathroom was lovely with heated flooring. Pool was well used by us and others. Restaurant had tasty, easy meals at a good price.”

“Traditional place very cool for friends to bond no tv which is awesome basic utilities not fancy perfect for a group of people”

“Cooking amenities lacking. Only 2 frying pans and 1 very small pot. One pan you could not use . It was so scratched that it was unsafe to cook in. Teatowel had holes in it. “Staff was great, room was super-clean, breakfast was fine. The building itself is small and we were on the first floor and could hear people coming and going.”

“Location and staff”

“Everything was tidy and new. Staff were friendly and polite. Would go again :)”

“The house is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms were perfect sized with a large ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The host Linda was lovely and accommodating and very helpful. We would definitely recommend Aachen House!”

“This new place is a welcome discovery, perfectly positioned just a hundred metres or so from the Newmarket Train Station (direct CRL into the city) and also the Newmarket shopping district with Westfield, cafés etc. The rooms are very nicely appointed, the bed linen of excellent quality and the general ambience very pleasant. It presents excellent value in comparison to many other options - we will definitely we staying here again.”

“Nice hotel in a central location”

“Good quiet stay, clean room and bathroom”

However, please note that the economy studio has one tiny high window, but is essentially a windowless block bunker under the back of the building. There is no natural ventilation, light or outlook. It was ok for us as on this trip we just needed a bed at night, however we would have been very disappointed if wanted to spend any time there. Also, one...
