Good location, older apartment

ProsNice and responsive hostPool and partial sea viewGreat locationGood and free parkingNice kitchenGood shower pressure and water temperature Cons- You can’t use two appliances at once because the main electrical breaker will trip. So turn off the water heater if you want to use the oven. This issue is due to the age of the building. It simply wasn’t built for the electrical demands of today’s appliances, and it’s obviously never been updated. This was the biggest con for us.- Old/cheap furniture: we were there for a week and I had to pile my clothes on the futon because the dresser drawers don’t open/close-No smart TV, but the TV works fine

Appartement sans électricité sans eaux chaude

Déjà pour commencer je n’ai eu aucune indication pour accéder à l’appartement et le propriétaire ne répondais pas j’ai donc dû appeler Abritel pour qu’il puisse m’aider. Ensuite l’appartement est démunie d’un système électrique fonctionnel ce qui veut dire que j’ai passer tout le séjour sans eau chaude ni électricité j’ai bien sûr contacter le propriétaire qui m’as ignoré tout au long du voyage et abriter qui m’ont dit que quelqu’un aller me contacter mais j’attend toujours. Ne prenez pas surtout pas cette appartement pourrie au fourniture trouver dans la rue sans communication avec le propriétaire qui est un escro

Two issues

The apartment did not have an iron and ironing board or a coffee maker that worked on a convection stove. When we contacted the property management and asked them if they could provide a coffee maker and and iron we were told that if we weren’t satisfied we could find somewhere else to stay. This was on our first day in the unit after travelling 18 hours. We travel internationally two months every year to various locations and always rent apartments. We have never been treated so poorly. Consequently we do not recommend dealing with this company! It’s a shame because the apartment has had a nice remodel. I don’t understand why someone would spend so much money on remodelling and then provide such poor service.

Property owner is greedy and rude

The property is located in a great area, a lovely beach, shops, bars and restaurants are all close by BUT the property has not been maintained much and is very basic, not well equipped and dangerous. The electrics permanently trip when the appliances are in use - especially the washing machine but also the oven, hob and toaster too. The boiler leaks, there is no iron and ironing board, the front door only has one lock so it is not very secure, these were reported to VRBO previously. If you arrrive late at night do not expect to have a bottle of water in the fridge this is far too much effort for the host. The windows have not been cleaned for months externally and the neighbours are a little noisy. There is no point telling the host about any of the above as they are not interested and won't even respond to messages about issues you may be having - they have your money what does it matter to them? If you like the electrics tripping constantly, having a host thst is not interested in any issues you may be having then by all means book this property. But this apartment cost us more than £600 for a week which is very overated.

Schreckliche Wohnung

Ich war mit 4 weiteren Erwachsenen in diesem Apartment. Das erste ist, dass so viele Personen in diese kleine Wohnung gar nicht passen, es gab kein Balkon, der Parkplatz war eine Katastrophe da geht es nämlich nach dem Motto "Wer zuerst kommt mal zuerst", wir konnten mit niemanden Kontakt aufnehmen, weil keine Antwort kam, Kakerlaken waren in dieser Wohnung, man konnte Klimaanlage und Föhn nicht gleichzeitig eingeschaltet haben, da es immer zu einer Kurzschlussreaktion kam, der Vermieter hat mir einen falschen Code per Mail zugesendet und wir mussten stundenlang draußen warten und obwohl es in dieser Wohnung sehr schlimm war musste ich noch zusätzlich 150€ für die "Reinigung" bezahlen.

Quejas sobre el apartamento

En general y en particular, este apartamento no cumplía las reglas de higiene y salubridad, ni de seguridad convenientes. Nunca pudimos ver al propietario del apartamento ni de la agencia que lo gestionaba, es más solo pudimos hablar con una persona de la agencia, un tal Dani, que ante nuestras quejas, se limitó a colgarnos el teléfono porque estaba muy ocupado, trabajando. Y que nos dijo que él mismo había verificado la limpieza del apartamento con antelación a nuestra llegada. Las llaves las entrega el recepcionista del edificio. Había mucha suciedad en la cocina: interior y exterior de los muebles, frigorífico incluido, el extractor de humos estaba que se pegaban las manos en él. El microondas estaba muy sucio en su interior. Había en un cajón, una paellera, completamente oxidada y sucia. La cama convertible de la terraza tenía sábanas que apestaban a tabaco, tuvimos que lavarlas para poderlas utilizar. El cuarto de baño se encontraba en una situación deplorable, la bañera que estaba pintada con pintura plástica, en el fondo de la misma ya no había pintura. Y tb polvo por todos sitios. La mecedora de la habitación estaba vieja y con una manta que la cubría para no ver el tejido viejo y completamente deteriorado de la misma. La puerta del apartamento no era de seguridad, contaba con un cerrojo en el interior de la vivienda para cerrarla por la noche. En general el edificio está muy mal mantenido, a los techos de los pasillos se les cae la capa de pintura. Los cristales de la terraza y sus cortinas, no se deben de haber limpiado y lavado desde tiempo inmemorial. Los plomos saltaban sobre todo cuando la lavadora estaba funcionando al mismo tiempo que la televisión, es decir que tiene poca potencia contratada. Tenemos fotos de todo ésto en el caso de que Vrbo estuviera interesado en verlas. Positivo: las bonitas vistas al jardin y al mar. La cercanía a la playa. Y el agua caliente que funcionaba bien. Yo aconsejo a Vrbo que cuide con más atención los anuncios que aparecen en su plataforma y que verifique el estado de los alojamientos. Hemos pagado un total de 498 Euros, incluido 65 Euros de limpieza y otros servicios de gestión, por 5 noches de estancia, alojamiento que no merecía ni 50 euros por noche. Era nuestra primera experiencia con su plataforma, pero pienso que puede ser la última.Espero que Vrbo realice una lectura de mis comentarios y trate de verificar los alojamientos antes de publicarlos. We had the most amazing time at this apartment. It was extremely clean and perfect for our stay. The beach was 5 minutes walk away. Antonio was the perfect host answering all our questions. We will definitely be going again.

The apartment was spotless and comfortable. The water pressure was great in the shower although the tub drains slowly and there was a slight odour from the bathroom after a couple of days, I suspect something with the drains. The sofa bed was made up for us as requested. Both beds were firm and comfortable. The bedroom is not fully private as one wall has a patio-style door and the curtains don't close it off completely so it is not fully private. This place is best suited to a couple or close friends. The back wall of the apartment, facing the sea and with views of the pool are all sliding glass windows that can be opened for sea breezes. There are awning/shades to keep the sun out, lovely. The pool was lovely and the beach was a 5 minute walk away. The beach is small with only a handful of loungers and ubrellas to rent but the bar is nice and you can buy an umbrella for 12euros from the supermarket nearby to lay your towel beneath. The 24hr concierge was helpful for the key exchange and in calling a taxi to the airport. Taxi to the airport was 30euros at night which is a bit more than the day-time fare. The area and neighbourhood was quiet and felt safe but the walls in the apartment are thin so the neighbour's TV watching was a bit disruptive at nap and bed-time. If you are happy to stay outside of downtown Alicante in a more quiet and less animated area, this is the place for you. I would happily stay again.

EXCELLENT SEJOUR

Antonio est un hôte absolument adorable et toujours disponible et à l'écoute, L'appartement et la résidence sont exceptionnels et calmes! Idéalement situé entre les 2 plages de La Almadrada et de Albufera, à 2min à pied! Séjour parfait!!!
