“What a cool spot, lots of things to do around the property or just relax by the pool and sauna. This would be a fun spot for couples, great vibe and easy to be romantic, assuming you like to be spoiled and outdoors at the same time.”

“The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the back gardens is a big plus. Margaret is very accessible and helpful. Her garden shop is a lovely place to browse. This is our third stay and we will most likely return if visiting in the area.”

“The breakfast was lack luster, only very few pastries, cereal and bread (but no plain bread, all had seeds and my kids wouldn't eat them). Our room had sooo many tiny ants crawling all over my (empty) coolers. When I asked the front desk for assistance with it they gave me an insect spray to spray around the room which killed some ants, but then I had ant caucuses in the room (that housekeeping did not clean up the next day). The beds were basically fold away beds so were not very comfortable....

“It’s a basic hotel. We got in town late and left in the morning so it served its purpose. The TV in our room didn’t work and it looked a little run down but it was clean and the bed was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was good. If you just need a place to rest your head this place will do. The staff were great and very friendly.”

“Great host, Rose cares about her guests you can tell that right away. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in and it was fully stocked with soaps, coffee & even makeup wipes for my wife. Rose accommodated dietary restrictions for our breakfast no problem. The perfect place to stay for couples visiting Port Hope and looking for something a bit more special than a hotel. Summertime would be even better. ”
