Fjord View Cabin Near Bergen & Nature

Welcome to our charming cabin with stunning fjord views, nestled among trees just 30 mins from Bergen. The cabin blends rustic charm with modern comforts, creating a peaceful getaway. Relax on the balcony, listen to birds, and enjoy the calming sounds of a nearby stream

Just steps away,the fjord is lovely for swimming in summer—though note that the shoreline is natural and may see occasional boat activity. We also offer kayak rentals: one double kayak for $20/day and a single kayak for $10/day.

The cabin features three bedrooms: one on the first level and two on the upper level. It can comfortably accommodate up to six guests with a king bed, queen bed, and two single beds. The cabin is fully equipped with bed linens, towels, and other essentials to ensure a comfortable stay. A washing machine is also available for guest use.

Currently, the cabin uses an eco-friendly incinerating toilet instead of a standard flush toilet (simple and clean with instructions provided). However, from mid-June onwards, it's likely we'll switch to a regular flush toilet, pending municipality approval.

Located partly under a high bridge, the cabin remains visually appealing, peaceful, and private.

The best way to reach the cabin is by car. While there are bus options, the total travel time, including walking, is about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Bus stops are either a 10-minute or 30-minute walk from the cabin.
