“We traveled and arrived at 10 pm. Had to wait at an unmanned front desk for 15 minutes before someone came to check in. In the morning at 6:30am we were awoken by about 8 different dogs barking for a solid hour. Not necessarily a hotel problem but it was irritating.”

“Breakfast featured a wide array of items. Bed was a bit saggy on the side closest to the bathroom area. Room at night was completely dark, making it difficult to find my way to the bathroom. Bring your own nightlights for critical areas.”

“The Blue Heron was absolutely lovely. Christine is a wonderful host and went out of her way to ensure her guests were comfortable, happy, and well taken care of. The house is clean and beautifully decorated…and not in a cheesy or old creepy kinda way. It’s tastefully antique and chic. The parking is a tight, but once you’re there, you don’t need your car again until you leave. It’s in walking distance to great restaurants and downtown.
