Motel a Amish Country

“Only one night stayed, but very clean hotel with homey feel. Amish made furniture in our room was impressive. Very serene and nice view of the countryside from the back deck. Walked to the diner about 3 minutes away for dinner.”

“We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. When we arrived, it appeared that people were living there, which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The pool was in terrible condition—the water was so cloudy you couldn’t even see the bottom. There were broken windows around the property, and the overall condition was nothing like what was advertised. The listing advertised breakfast, but there was no breakfast available. We were also surprised to be charged a $60 damage deposit upon arrival...

“We got off to a bad start because we arrived before the specified 8 pm and no one was there to check us in and no one answered the phone listed on the door. Another guest had phone for manager and she came when he called but it was distressing. Room was pretty clean and very basic. The refrigerator did not work even after we plugged it in. Manager was nice but they do have staffing issues.”
