Avevo cercato una camera più economica e sono stato contento di averla trovata al Amsterdam House Hotel perché seppur piccola non mancava niente ,perfino il frigo. La receptionist molto disponibile e gentile, ci tornerò di sicuro

House boat si super! Very comfortable. Hotel is located in the center and I will recommend this hotel to friends for sure.

It's a very cozy little hotel with a nice breakfast buffet and extremely friendly staff that made an excellent coffee :). The night was nice and quiet. They were very accommodating to our dog.

Bed Bug!!!!!!!!!! From the first day, I was anxious and barely used the bed. I slept with all the lights on. The next day, I saw bedbugs passing over my bed, so I checked out right away at 6am and went outside. I threw away all my clothes. No way. The bed bugs will never go away.

Great location, decent hotel!
Decent Hotel in fantastic location - Obviously in need of a spruce up renovation, but perfectly functional for everything you need. Liked the MiniBar, and lighting in the room. Didn't like the lack of sockets by the bed.

The property is beautiful from the outside but could do with a little modernising and decor tidying up. That said, for the rating it’s not bad and if only used as a place to lay your head, you don’t really need anything more. Staff were great, helpful , knowledgeable and polite ensuring we had everything we needed and even emailed to confirm as such, even after departure which was delightful

Terrible room
We stayed in room 35 which was at the back of the hotel. Two twin beds push together left barely enough room to walk on the sides of the bed. The room is excessively small. No air conditioning. Double window had no screens. Windows opened up to rear of courtyard which allowed the adjacent rooms to be able to look into our room quite easily. No space to put our luggage except on the floor. This room should be classified as a hostel, not a hotel.

Dear Mr. Michael,Thank you for staying with us and finding a time to write a review.-All the: rooms sizes, layout, dimensions, views from the room and actual room pictures are displayed on the site before confirming the booking.-Hotel have also 12 more spacious cozy rooms with fantastic Amstel Canal views. It's all depends on the Guests preferences and budget of course. You paid a cheapest rate and choose the less comfort (smalest room with courtyard view).-Hotel is situated in a monumental building in the centre without air conditioning. We did not a have a good experience. Unfortunately, we booked the wrong dates, our mistake, so we had to pay for two nights even though we could only stay the second night. Manager was really unfriendly, wasn't accommodating or apologetic at all. Also, the reviews on this site are misleading, they are all really positive. We started reading google reviews as soon as we put the hotel into our maps. Terrible reviews on there. Complaints about bed bugs, unfriendly service, dirty conditions of the hotel, etc. We thought about staying there for the one night, after looking at the room we immediately left and paid for a hotel across the canal. We still had to pay full price for the two nights, such a rip off. Lesson learned, don't book with travelocity and don't trust their reviews.
