Amsterdam stay
Very clean, quiet apartment on a backwater canal. 5 minute walk to buses and local restaurants/shopping. Sebastian is an excellent host. We walked from Amsterdam Centraal train station as it was Kings Day and crazy busy. Took about 30 minutes. After we got used to the buses we had access to everything.

Perfection
Outstanding stay in a brilliant neighbourhood within walking distance to everything. The apartment had everything we needed and Sebastian was the perfect host. Can’t speak highly enough of him, the apartment, the neighbourhood and the whole experience. Amsterdam is a gem.

A wonderful place to stay
The apartment is great, very comfortable, king bed and a nice little kitchen. We did not cook but ate breakfast and some takeout in the apartment and there are sufficient dishes, spices and a small refrigerator with freezer. The apartment is close to the grocery, lots of restaurants and shops, the bus stop and a tram. We made good use of a 5 day bus/tram pass that was well worth the money for us. The bus to the central station took less than 10 minutes which was handy for day trips. The neighborhood is very quiet overlooking a canal. Sebastian was so nice to orient us and stop by periodically during the week to see if we needed anything. Everything was great.

Fabulous location
Sebastian was a great host, making our check in and out friendly and easy. The apartment is exactly as listed, and the location could not be better. The apartment faces a quiet canal but is just is around the corner from a busy square with a fresh food market, cafés and quick access to bus and tram lines that took us everywhere we wanted to go.

Perfect Apt in Great Location
Sebastian was a fabulous host! He was out of town and still arranged for us to be greeted and he stayed in touch throughout our stay. We loved the location and took advantage of Sebastian's culinary recommendations. The grocery store was close, as well as the tram and busses. The apartment was even nicer than in the photographs. Very clean and comfortable. We loved the espresso machine!

Great Stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Sebastian’s lovely apartment. Well located, we walked everywhere but there is public transport nearby. The apartment is warm and comfortable, the kitchen has everything needed and Sebastian’s welcome gifts has started a lifelong addiction to stroopwafels!

Nice clean, quiet apartment in a great location.
The apartment worked out really well. It was a short walk to the center of everything, and very quick to the train station. Yet far enough to be nice and quiet. Some nice spots to eat, drink a short walk away. And the host was more than attentive and helpful to us. Would recommend for sure!

Look no further!
This was the third leg of our trip and it couldn’t have been better! Sebastian was extremely accommodating and friendly. He checked on us several times and left a very nice welcome package. The location is perfect for what we wanted and the apartment was clean and very comfortable. Book without hesitation!

Amazing Apartment
We started making our 2 week anniversary trip arrangements a year ago. We wanted an apartment that offered us a place that felt safe, clean, comfortable & convenient to both restaurants & transportation and this place had it all. One of the perks was how the apartment is designed with a separate king size bedroom. Super comfortable bed, I might add. Sebastian was so helpful before we arrived and during our stay with our questions. Super knowledgeable about the area too. Staying here made our 35th anniversary trip even more special. When we return, it will be the #1 place on our list to stay at! 😊

A super stay with a SUPER host
The property was just as described, even better. Ground floor access was a plus. The neighbourhood was quiet, close to scenic neighbourhoods and canals yet close to a transit hub, groceries and a cool shopping street. Sebastian was a super host, welcoming with a bottle of wine plus cheese. Always available with advice, response to any issues and kept the unit supplied and clean weekly. A plus that he lives in the building too. We were incredibly impressed with Amsterdam and could well return.

Exceptional
Sebastian is great to work with. Quick communication. The apartment is everything you could want. It is convenient to walk everywhere and if you need, the tram and bus are very close as is a grocery store and restaurants. Try Rafi restaurant. I use a wheelchair and it is great there are no stairs or steps to get into the apartment.

Perfect location and apartment for a four-day visit
Sebastian’s apartment is in a great neighborhood, close to everything but nice and quiet in the evenings. He is an excellent host. We look forward to our next visit!

Great Apartment/Great Neighborhood
This apartment is beautifully modern, but set in an historic building and situated along a canal in an historic, picturesque, non-touristy, and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is small, but very well-equipped and well-stocked. Though it is on the ground floor, it is very quiet (and there are no stairs to climb!). Nearby is a lovely plaza, a charming street, a beautiful park, and stores, shops, and restaurants. Tram and bus stops are also nearby, and it is only a short ride to the city sights. We're coming back, for sure!

Amazing Apartment. Fantastic Location
This was our second stay and it was even better than the first. Extremely response host. Super clean apartment in a wonderful location (delightful and quiet area that is close to shops, restaurants, and public transit. An espresso maker so easy to use I wanted to put it in my suitcase. Book early. We booked in November for a June stay.

Amazing Apartment
If you're looking for an apartment that is just outside the city central, in a quiet neighborhood, on the ground floor, near a bus line and metro, very clean and has everything you need, this is the one! Sebastian was a perfect host - he met us when we arrived; explained things about the apartment and the area; left wine, cheese, and stroop wafles for us; and even made arrangements for us to be taken to the airport ( which I would suggest you do). If I could give this experience more than five stars, I would!

Simply wonderful
We enjoyed four fabulous spring days staying at this charming apartment. The location within an easy 15 minute walk of Central Station made our visit to the sights of Amsterdam easy. The apartment had everything we needed to cook at home. It was lovely and quiet so we slept well. But the highlight of the apartment is the host Sebastian who was very kind and always extremely helpful.

A perfect base for exploring Amsterdam
Staying here was a delight! The apartment is well appointed, from the DeLonghi coffee machine to the soap, shampoo and dishwashing liquid in plentiful supply. We loved being so close to buses and trams. Sebastian's recommendations were great, from our favorite restaurant, 't Blaauwhooft, to the laundry place just off the square. Sebastian was a terrific host, quick to answer our questions and ever helpful with logistics. Highly, highly recommended! Hope we can return one day soon

Absolute Perfection!
I cannot recommend this property enough! The apartment is spotless and well appointed. Sebastian is a warm and gracious host and was always available to us (particularly when I accidently tripped the breaker!). He provided us with excellent recommendations for places to eat and see in Amsterdam. The location is unbeatable. When I travel, I love to experience a location as a local does. This property is perfectly situated in Amsterdam so that you are close to all of the major tourist attractions, but are also part of a local neighborhood. We were close to shopping, food, drinks, bus and train, but also within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. We loved our stay so much and cannot wait to return! Thank you, Sebastian and give our best to the local cats! :)

Love the area
Great location. Cafes, grocery stores, pizza joints all within walking distance. Number 18 and 21 bus takes you to Centraal Station. It's walkable too. We had an issue with a previous guest which required immediate action. Sebastian's wife Alena was on the ball and responded immediately. She and Sebastian live upstairs. The building is so solid that we never heard them or anyone else. My favorite utility was the bathroom. Yes, the bathroom. I find European bathrooms over designed, i.e. the shower pan is flush with the floor and slippery as hell. Sebastian's shower is like a pod. You close the door and you're enveloped. I saw the same design in Hong Kong. Excellent water pressure and piping hot. The kitchen is cleverly designed with a fridge, a hotplate and a microwave / oven but for me, too much counter space is taken up with a honking big coffee maker. I don't need coffee that badly but I guess other people do. The bed is solid. Motion detector lights help in the dark. Great communication with the hosts, especially Alena who stick-handled our concerns.

The property was clean and quiet and a 15 minute walk to the central train station. Although very small, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. Sebastion was a great host and the property is clean, quiet and in a great area for exploring the Jordaan, walking downtown or taking a quick tram to the museums and park. Quiet perfection
The location was quiet and convenient. It was easy to get around a new city from this location. The owner was helpful and made the process work. We enjoyed being on the first floor when it came to our baggage and coming and going. The canal was such a treat to have out our door.

Peaceful and comfortable stay
Wonderful and picturesque area, off the beaten track. Very peaceful. Extremely comfortable beds (king size and sofa). Great bathroom and practical small kitchen with oil etc provided (useful to cook our morning eggs). Short walk to supermarket and lively street with cafes, restaurants, shops etc. Walking distance from Central Station and bus/tram stops to take you further afield. Highly recommended.

Super convenient, quiet location, safe and thoughtfully appointed
What a gem of an apartment! The location is central yet in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is small but extremely well appointed. The lighting is great. (Love the under-the-bed soft glow.) Every corner of the apartment is very clean. Sebastian was super communicative and readily available if needed. We had a fabulous stay in Amsterdam thanks in large part to Sebastian's place and would definitely stay here again.

Sebastian was a gracious, helpful and highly responsive host. The apartment is on the ground floor, but in a very safe, quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect; close to public transit, grocery store, cafes, restaurants and pubs. It was a great experience and we can't wait to come back.
