“A great location if you're spending time in Colchester town center, visiting the castle and sampling the many wonderful pubs and restaurants in the area. The rooms were nice and roomy. They did tell us ahead of time that the room was on two floors (bed upstairs and lounge/study downstairs), a nice layout although a bit of a trip hazard if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and don't want to wake your partner. The staff were friendly and attentive.”

“We recently stayed for 2 nights in the Reynolds Room, in the main hotel, which was a really lovely room, quiet with wonderful views. Loved the bathroom products and the towels were fabulous and clean. There were 5 roller blinds to close every night and open every morning, which was fiddly and there were gaps of light coming through during the night and especially at day break. Might have been better if there was just one blind across the front window, that’s me being picky, as I love a dark...

“Hotel in posizione strategica a pochi passi da Colchester, parcheggio dietro la struttura. Mi hanno contattato subito dopo la prenotazione per darmi tutte le informazioni via whatsapp, gentilissimi e attenti. La camera pulita. Potrebbe risultare piccola per chi è alto e robusto, soprattutto se in coppia ma all'interno è presente davvero tutto. ”

“Good price and nice breakfast with cooked to order options. Lovely to have a hotel with a full gym and swimming pool. Location is a little odd as it's on an old airfield I believe which is now an industrial estate. Part of the grounds is a golf club but there are limited areas which are available there to walk or run meaning I ended up having to use a treadmill for my morning run instead of running outside. Seems a shame to not make the golf course more multi use and either push people into...
