“Parking was excellent. There were only two other cars there all night. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Unable to get any hot water at all!! AC was good. No elevator that I ever saw. High ceilings so lots of stairs. Not good for handicapped.”

When we went cut the new room 4 staff people were talking and laughing loudly. “Parking lot very clean with ample parking spaces. Property is very old and run down. Hallway carpeting smells musty and of old cigarettes. Good size bathroom, very clean. Appropriate toiletries provided. Bathroom towels very thin and low quality. Beds and pillows very lumpy. Breakfast layout is pathetic. On a positive note, staff members from all shifts were extremely pleasant. Per front desk staff, hotel does not have an elevator, so we stayed on the first floor. Owners need to invest more in...

“The breakfast had all the items that my wife and I wanted. Everything was spotless and there were more than enough tables and chairs fort a reelaxing meal. The parking is in back of and to the side of the entrance only a few steps to the front doors with plenty of parking spaces. The staff, from the front desk to the maintenence folks were all friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The hotel is located a few steps from the main street which makes everything you might want withing a few minutes...

“This was such a peaceful stay. We took our dog with us ($75 by the way. We didn’t know it was an extra charge) and she was so happy with nature, us being city people. The hiking trail was great. I loved that there was no television, but my husband didn’t! There is wifi though. Next time we will get a stand alone cabin for more privacy. But our room was fantastic: fridge, pots, pans, stove, etc. It was ready all you need to bring is food. Oh and ice, they sell ice, but i would have preferred ice...

“Spotlessly clean upon our arrival, the rooms already pre-heated for the cold day, and every amenity available we could wish for. That included firewood and starter kit for a nominal fee, plus rowboat with safety vests and oars included in the cabin price. The cabin was, in addition to being immaculately clean, very nicely appointed and cozy with the pine wood paneling. “There was something in the bathtub, also the bathtub floor was damaged. The sink area needs to be replaced, and there was a moldy residue around the brim. Lastly, I was greeted by ants. I asked for a new room which the attendant promptly changed. The new room had a cracked bathtub floor, and I used a wash cloth to wipe the brim of the sink, and when I began to rinse, black particles kept appearing -the more I rinsed, the more particles appeared.”
