Hotel vicino a Atlantic University - Virginia Beach

“Overall experience was great. It took a very long time to check in even with placing prior arrangements. Prices for water, snacks was outrageous! Went to the lounge there at the resort and paid 43.00 for 2 adult beverages, that is just rediculous. Putting a hold of 150.00 per night on a credit card for "incidentals" wow!! I understand its a resort but it was halloween not the 4th of july.”

“Clean room but they were upgrading the 3rd floor & it was noisy early in the morning.”

“Staff was great. Room needed a redo. Restaurant food was not good”

“I had a nice stay at Barclay Cottage Inn overall. The property was clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located near the beach. The service was also good, and I had a pleasant experience with the staff. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. I realize the property describes it as a continental breakfast, so I may have had different expectations based on some of the breakfast photos I saw online. The breakfast offered during my stay was fairly limited: bagels with cream cheese or...

“Amazing stay! Mrs. Jennifer was welcoming at check-in. The rooms were spacious and super clean. I will most definitely be back! My son is stationed nearby, and this will be the place for our family to stay every time. Amazing hotel!!!!!”

“Was upgraded to the best suite and the staff catered to us repeatedly. They were so friendly and”

“I stayed for one day which happened to be my birthday. I was able to checkin early which was a big help. I was gifted with a Happy Birthday sign and a Sparkling Cider Bottle to celebrate my day. For a Hotel is pretty good. All the staff was pleasant and helpful with finding places to eat and places to shop. I had stayed here before years ago under different management. And even they were amazing. I got the Standard Suite, with a King Size bed, a sofa in another room, fridge and microwave. Table...

“The view was as it said, beach facing, however had some problems with the room itself. 1st the bathroom didnt work properly. Using the restroom upon arrival it was clogged and and took forever to refill. The shower when turned on rattled very loudly. The room had a microwave that didnt work and there was a odd smell. Could use an upgrade.”

“Our hotel room was perfect, and we loved hearing the oceans waves.”

“Great ocean front location! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Large breakfast buffet included was a bonus. They should include parking in the nightly rate though instead of charging $20 extra per night.”

“I really appreciate it”
