The door to the bathroom got stuck on the floor and there was paint on the ceiling light. But the gentleman at reception was very professional and apart from the distant motorway noise it was very quiet.”

“I arrived at the hotel very late night and tired, and I had to wake up early for my 8:00 a.m. flight. While walking barefoot in the room, I felt something sharp under my foot — it was a piece of nail that a previous guest had cut and left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was obvious the room was not clean, but since I needed to rest, I decided to mention it at the reception before leaving.
