“Overall this property is excellent. Comfortable bed, a bar, breakfast was above average and within walking distance to reasonable places to eat and an easy drive to refuel and get to the airport. The one surprise was pulling up to a $48 valet charge and they were not very forthcoming about other local parking garages (that were a half block away for $15). “It is a very unique hotel. Fun place. Having a fridge that's actually cold and a microwave would be great for all these overpriced food we had leftover. The double beds were horrible to share... I did not get the room I signed up for. We were over the kitchen and it smelled like food and te view was ugly. “I really wanted to love this stay because the location of the property is fantastic and put us right where we needed to be. However, the logistical and health-standard issues made it impossible to give a higher rating.
The parking was an absolute headache. The layout is cramped and frustrating, which is a stressful way to start and end every day. The main reason for the low rating, however, was the breakfast. I found mold in the breakfast scones, which is completely unacceptable.”
