Charming and bright apartment in the heart of Barcelona

Cosy and bright flat a few blocks from Sants train station. It is located in the Eixample, a very quiet neighbourhood surrounded by cafes, bars, supermarkets and all kinds of services. You can find here the best brunches of the city and the Ninot market, where you can taste local cuisine and delicatessen. The nearest metro station is 1 block away and you can reach the Sagrada Familia in 10 minutes. Barceloneta and the Gothic Quarter are less than 15 minutes away by metro.
If you prefer to walk, in 20 minutes you'll be in the most iconic places in Barcelona: Passeig de Gràcia, Sagrada Familia, La Rambla.

Acogedor y luminoso piso a pocas cuadras de la estación de trenes Sants. A pocos pasos encontraras supermercados, bares, cafés, restaurantes, los mejores brunch de la ciudad y el mercado del Ninot, donde poder degustar gastronomía local y delicattessen. Parada de autobuses y metro a una cuadra. A 20 minutos andando llegas a los puntos más icónicos de barcelona: al paseo de gracia, a la sagrada familia, a la Rambla y al barrio gótico.

Just okay

It was okay. Living room was great! Kitchen kind of dark. Very noisy from the street and we were on 8th floor. Not super clean.

Other reviews were misleading. Not a nice place to stay!

This property was not clean! I notified the host to let her know the place wasn't clean and she wouldn't refund the cleaning fee I had to call VRBO to get the cleaning fee waived. There was a weird smell, like a musty mildew smell. This apartment complex was under construction so we had to listen to construction starting at 7am! This was NEVER DISCLOSED to us prior to booking the reservation. This location is very LOUD, trash cans on the street get emptied around 2am every night so it woke us up every night. There is also a bar right below so all the cigarette/cigar smoke comes right up when you have the windows open. There was also no screens on the windows so mosquitoes get in. You also are only provided one bath towel so not ideal for staying multiple nights and people. You can wash your towel but no dryer so you have to hang dry your towel and clothes. We were also only left one roll of toliet paper and I had to contact the host to have more provided. We stayed 8 nights and I wish we would have just booked a hotel. I hate to leave a negative review, however I do NOT recommend this VRBO.

Great top floor apartment

We really enjoyed staying in the Eixemple part of the city, where there is generally more open space and less touristy than the historical neighbourhoods. Grocery store across the street allowed us to breakfast on the small balconies and enjoy the views and the light.

Lovely bright flat 8 floors (approx) with a lift. Both bedrooms were great and living space was particularly lovely with shutters and window opening into a Juliet balcony. Only one small cleaning issue, both the sink in kitchen and bath needed a clean but otherwise it was all great and loads of towels! Worth noting whilst pretty high up on a busy residential street Sat night was pretty noisy. And if you want to be 10-15 mins walking from rambalas, Latin quarter, Gaudí houses this flat is more like 20-30 mins on foot.

Excellent spot

Everything was spotless, the location was excellent. Maria José was always available to answer any questions and recommend places. They even left chocolates for the kids.
