“Very conscientious and empathetic host who has done her best to provide everything you could possibly need or want. This is also one of the only vacation rentals I’ve been to that actually had good bedding and high quality pillows and blankets in a human quantity. Good coffee from the nespresso machine too! I have the location a 4/5 only because people like to drive fast on market street and if you request a ride from Waymo it is kind of an arduous walk to get to the pickup point a street down...

“The owner did not communicate at all. My friend and I sat outside of someone's home for 45 min waiting for an access code that never came because despite us being at the address listed and the building being the same in the pictures, the resident had no idea what was going on. At least I got my money back after my reservation was canceled by the owner AFTER our check in time - leaving us stranded in a far away city with nowhere to stay. This experience ruined my trip to San Francisco. Stay away.”

Naively, I assumed we might not need a gate code or it would be emailed to us closer to the date or the owner would message us with it. We pulled up to the villa directly after our wedding. “We loved staying in this house. It was the perfect place for the two of us to get away for our anniversay and also celebrate Thanksgiving. The house was cozy and all the recommendations were excellent. We will be going to Lilian's for their eggplant parmesan the next time we are in town. The only downside for us is that most likely when we stay in the Santa Cruz are we'll have a dog, so we can't stay at this home again. Thank you for a great vacation!”
