“The hotel was clean and comfortable all the amenities we expected. The only sour note was the breakfast we had purchased as part of our stay. The breakfast was a Starbucks concession inside the hotel that provided a cup of coffee and a bagel or muffin. My husband ate a banana and was told he owed a dollar! “I had a frustrating experience during my stay that came down to a basic service failure. My room included a pull-out sofa, but when I requested an extra comforter so it could actually be used as a bed, the staff refused. Their reasoning was that they “didn’t know” the hotel had pull-out sofas. That response was surprising and unprofessional. A pull-out sofa is clearly intended as a sleeping space, and providing appropriate bedding should be standard. Instead, I was left without a practical way...

“We arrived on Friday, and that day/night was great. On Saturday, it was completely different. Some people seemed like they were parting in the hallway outside our room, and a door kept opening and slamming shut. It also rained, and the drip or the roof...something was pounding so hard on the roof that we did not sleep at all and had a 7-hour drive the next morning. Not a fault, per se, but the roof/drainage should be checked out as that was completely unacceptable.”
