If you are up early enough you will see a wide variety of birds at breakfast. We even saw a few howler moneys in the evening! “This place was amazing. The view of the wilderness was awesome. We stayed in the Firewatch villa and had a front row seat to various birds with a great view. We took a guided tour of the property and saw 4 waterfalls, a hawk and had a private lunch at the secret pool with another waterfall and hammock. The staff was amazing. “Amazing stay in nature with hosts that were welcoming and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet stay in nature. Best to come with a car so you can get around easily. Some great walks and maya sites near by, not to mention the chocolate tour at ixcacao. Can't wait to come back with our son to stay again ! ”
