“ Motel was very run down, door was open when we arrived and the heater did not work. It was 20 degrees outside and the room was very cold. When we asked for help, the staff implied that we broke the heater by simply trying to turn it on. Said to give it some time because I pushed too many buttons (on, high, heat were pushed). “This was quick overnight stay and we checked in too late to try the pool, but the beds were comfy and the breakfast was wonderful! The area also was conveniently located and felt safe. Thank you, Kacey, for your kindness at check-in and the woman worked the breakfast area was also hardworking and kindly interacted her with guests. This was a great, quick stop for the night. “The building is an older one so keep that in mind. Stairs creaked etc. The rooms were quite clean IMO. Bathroom was very clean and recently recaulked which is a good sign to me. TV was great which is important to me. Staff was very nice and helpful. The only reason I would suggest not staying at this location is due to the slamming room doors and the trucks on Route 63. Both were quite loud. I was on vacation and wanted to sleep in but every morning around 6am I heard the doors slamming...

“The bed was very comfortable and it had both a sheet and lightweight comforter which was perfect. We could control the temperature in the room and it worked great. And my husband loved the coffee The room was large and we enjoyed our stay.”
