Didn’t make it to the property. They canceled on me day of. Very unpleasant.

Owner cancelled our booking 3 hours before our checking time, gave no access details and tried to give us another apartment outside the centre. He sent access details for this property after we had waited in a rainstorm and had booked a hotel for the week. Not impressed with him at all, now I want a refund

The apartment itself is fine but we experienced a number of major problems. The host was very slow to provide check in details which created stress waiting to receive them on the day of check in. The bathroom has major problems with drainage. The shower and toilet do not drain/flush, making it essentially unusable. There was also an incident at about 2am one night where someone was vigorously attempting to open the locked front door and enter the apartment. This was incredibly frightening. Overall, absolutely do not recommend this place given these problems, especially the lack of working bathroom.

We had never been to Berlin, and we were looking for reasonable cost, central location. This VRBO was perfect for that. The outside and neighborhood did not look good, but our anxiety was allayed when we got inside. A couple of minor issues: there is a washing machine, but no dryer and no clothesline to dry your things. The shower drain seems to be clogged. There is a stepdown to the living area from the kitchen that is hard to see, a hazard. Nonetheless, we liked the place and would recommend it.
