“We stopped for 1 night. The rooms were absolutely spotless, had everything you needed for a B&B. We were able to check in sooner than 3pm. the food was lovely. Great location, there was a hotel with a bar within about a 15 min walk. The couple who own it were really friendly. Weve already booked up to go back in june.”

“Room was fine, tea and coffee wasn't very nice and no complementary biscuits. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. States Brompton however 8 miles away. Bed was really uncomfortable. Evening meal was nice, 10% surcharge on you bill! Wine expenses! Breakfast was so so. Waited a long time for someone to come to the checkin fest on arrival and departure. “Gorgeous room and premises ... immaculately clean... hosts were just lovely... would highly recommend... all little things thought of and my dairy alkergy accommodated even had a small flask of oat milk for the room ... amazing breakfast not just taste but presentation also... it would be hard to beat... Fab location in proximity to the Shopping outley which us walkable and also The Blacksmiths at Gretna Green for weddings ... Thanks for a great stay xx”

“The place is an ancient inn in a wonderful spot of the countryside. Perfect for trips along Hadrian's wall or nice walks in the fields. No restaurants in the area except the inn's one, where it's possibile to eat until 8.30 pm. Excellent beer until late. The toilet area is really tiny, but the rooms are lovely.”
