“Was travelling on Blue Ridge Parkway and spent the day hiking in the Rock Castle Gorge. Floyd is closest town to the Gorge. Hotel Floyd is amazingly modern and clean hotel in a very small and charming hamlet of VA.”

“Breakfast was watery eggs microwaved paper slices of bacon and watered down juice. Parking was fine as there were very few guests.”

“If I could give it a 10-star rating it would get an 11. The best experience I have ever had staying overnight somewhere. I would definitely recommend!!”

“Friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable. We were passing through the area and stayed 1 night. Breakfast was good even though the power went out lol. The breakfast attended had a great attitude and had guests laughing and at ease during the outage. Id stay again if in the area.”

“Recently stayed here and had a very mixed experience. On the positive side, the AC worked wonderfully, and the microwave and fridge functioned perfectly. The pillowcases were also great—nice and clean. However, the rest of the stay was a struggle. The toilet took four flushes to clear, and the bathroom ventilation was completely clogged with dust and didn't work. While the linens were clean, the bedsheets were full of cigarette burn "ventilation holes" (in a non-smoking room). 1 floor mat, 1...

“They said when we checked in that breakfast in the morning would have eggs and sausage. Just waffles and bagels.... No cream cheese”

“Amazing walking distance to the race track. Above and beyond customer service. Hard mattresses, broken toilet seat, cold water don’t work in shower. ”

“The room was quite dirty, the carpet was not clean and the shower was unstable and bouncy. The bed was clean and the parking was really good. Not the most glamorous place but it worked for us, don’t stay here if you want something super nice”

“This could be a lovely hotel, but I’d need of maintenance and cleaning. The room was not clean, the ceiling was coming down in the bathroom area, a broken lamp was on the floor, terrible smoke odor in the room, one set of towels for two days in a king room. The front desk staff was friendly and the location was good.”
