The location of Mas Joer is unique. Nestled between the idyllic village of Boadella d'Empordà and the beautiful reservoir "Panta de Boadella", this accommodation offers a unique setting for a relaxing vacation in an absolutely secluded location surrounded by nature.
The last 100 meters to the Masia are on a private access road (not asphalted) which can be secured by a lockable barrier.

On hot summer days, you can take a refreshing dip in the uniquely situated swimming pool or relax comfortably on a lounger and let your gaze wander over the picturesque surroundings. Under the covered seating area, you can find shelter from the sun or rain and enjoy the Mediterranean flair at the same time. Whether you're enjoying a meal together or a glass of wine, this is the perfect place to linger. There is also a bar with a gas barbecue for all barbecue fans.

The living area on the first floor:
The spacious dining area with open kitchen and bar adjoins the terrace with a unique view. Adjacent to the dining room is a large living room area where you can relax. There is also a small bathroom/WC next to the exit to the swimming pool.
Overall, the first floor area offers an ideal mix of functionality and comfort - all set against the backdrop of breathtaking views of the natural surroundings.

The sleeping area on the 1st floor:
The bedrooms are all located on the second floor. The double room "el groc" has its own bathroom/WC and offers direct access to the spacious terrace. The double room "el blau" also has its own bathroom/WC. The double room "el vermell" shares a bathroom with the 2-bed room "el blanc". The latter also has direct access to the terrace. Each bathroom is equipped with a shower/bathtub and a bidet.

The unique location of the house allows you to experience the beauty of this region from both the Spanish and French sides. From here you can easily make excursions to nearby cities such as Barcelona, Girona, Figueres and Perpignan or simply enjoy the idyllic landscape at the foot of the Pyrenees - be it on hikes, bicycle or motorcycle tours.

Excursions:
You can reach the Costa Brava near Empuriabrava or Roses in just 35 minutes by car. Sant Pere Pescador, L'Escala, Cadaqués and Cap de Creus (the easternmost point of Spain) are also popular destinations for excursions to the sea. Figueres is just a 15-minute drive away, where you will find a wide range of shops and restaurants. Be sure to visit the Salvador Dalí Museum, the Toy Museum and much more. The medieval town of Besalú is just 50 minutes away by car, as are Girona and the pottery town of Bisbal. The "Panta de Boadella" reservoir is just a 20-minute walk away and offers beautiful surroundings for relaxing, swimming and fishing. A visit to the Club Nàutic restaurant, right by the lake, is not to be missed. The Aiguamolls del Empordà Natural Park near Empuriabrava is one of the most important wetlands in Catalonia with an impressive variety of animal species. It consists of various freshwater ponds and dunes and you can discover a reserve with an abundance of migratory bird species (around 330 species) and flora characteristic of the area.Take a mountain bike tour along the course of the River Muga on the signposted "Cami de Muga" hiking trail. This leads below Mas Joer to the confluence with the sea (33 km) in Empuriabrava.
For a city trip to Barcelona, there is also a connection to the AVE train in Figueres, which takes just 56 minutes. On a rainy day, a shopping trip to the "Gran Jonquera Outlet & Shopping" in La Jonquera, 15 minutes away by car, is a good idea.
