“The good things first….the staff and the kitchen/breakfast were wonderful!! The location is central and the convenience of parking in the back was great..however our room left little to be desired. We were downstairs in the basement in room 8, every morning we heard the kitchen staff and then the parade of people for breakfast, it was non stop and so LOUD. “I booked mainly because of the 11 am checkout time but housekeeping came knocking on my door twice at 945 & 950 am, just as I was getting dressed. I specifically asked for a quiet room location & they put me next to the stairwell + put a heavy footed person in the room above so it was not at all quiet. There was a dead palmetto bug on the floor that I had to dispose of. Otherwise it was okay-the bed was relatively comfortable & there was a good Keurig coffee make so I was glad I had my own good...

“I did not appreciate being checked-in by an AI- generated kiosk. It was extremely impersonal and took longer than it should have.
I was not placed in the type of room that was reserved.
Room decor was outdated, the armchair was filthy, and there was a dirty washcloth hanging in the shower.
The outside door was broken and wouldn't shut completely.
The glass window next to the door was shattered and held together with tape.
The hallway smelled of marijuana and dog urine.
The grounds were trashy...
