“Cabin was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. It rained and they normally lock the pool and hot tub when it rains, but they were super accomadating and unlocked the hot tub for us.”

“Our stay was short but our experience with staff was excellent. They were very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The room we stayed in had a lot of character and was clean and comfortable. We would have liked to stay longer to check out the bar and relax on our attached deck but our schedule didn’t allow that. We’d stay again if we’re in the area.”

“Room was very nice and clean. The room fit all four of us perfectly ! Great water pressure with lots of hot water . Pool was absolutely perfect temperature and the hot tub was relaxing . Great location for us to be in . We will be back for sure. Thank you for having us .”

“Nothing is good in this property. The worse place and room ever stayed. Filthy, old outdated rooms, small no air conditioning, no house keeping. The hotel is near Main Street with traffic noise. This was the worse room ever Expedia offered. Never make reservations through Expedia anymore. We were ripped off way over priced room. Never been in Motel 6, but I imagine motel 6 is better and much much cheaper. Don’t ruin your trip by staying in this filthy place”

“My husband, dog, and I stayed at Mendocino Cove during their soft opening in June 2026. The property was so peaceful, pet-friendly, and extremely clean. It was a little zen oasis between Fort Bragg and Mendocino. It was so convenient to have to have pickleball courts to play at anytime, and the private beach was an absolute gem. “Property is a great location. Getting to the beach is difficult. The carpet of our room was filthy. I walked on it without socks and shoes a few times and the bottom of my feet were black. I assumed it had to do with the hot tub, and people getting the floor wet and dirt collecting.”

“The only issue was there weren’t enough towels. In fact, there was only one for three people, and it took a little bit of time to get extra ones, but they did come through the room that they gave us was the corner room, which had the most windows I’ve ever seen in any place I’ve rented and it was all across the entire water and across everything in the area I think it must’ve been the best room.”
