“Cabin was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. It rained and they normally lock the pool and hot tub when it rains, but they were super accomadating and unlocked the hot tub for us.”

“I don't understand how this place has so many 5 star ratings. While the outdoor amenities are nice, and the location is good, our room itself was honestly disgusting. The sheets were dirty, there was mold building behind the sink, the bathtub had rust stains, toilet seat was stained, and there was paint chipping everywhere. Whole family was ready to get out first thing on our checkout day.”

“Had a wonderful stay at Mendocino Cove! They were pet friendly and had a dog bed, bowls, treats and even towels for our little pup. Amazing grounds and property is well kept. Location perfect with a labyrinth and easy trek to the beach. Room was perfect for our daughter's birthday getaway. Had a bit of wifi issue upon check-in, but it was resolved the next day and didn't miss it all too much. It was relaxing and they really try to focus on wellness. “Anchor Lodge was beautiful! We had such a fun stay and it was amazing waking up hearing the sea lions and watching the boats. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“It was clean but very run down. We couldn’t check in until 4, and the rooms were so old. I wish they advertised better. I may have still stayed because of location to the beach but for the price it was so not worth it.”

“This place is really nice! Rooms are adorable and the grounds are beautiful. Easy trail access to Van Damme beach and the trail itself is lined with wildflowers and lovely views. Nice chicken enclosure where you can feed them and the Llama are so cute! Breakfast delivered to tour room in the morning was very nice and the pizza restaurant had a nice selection of pizzas and salads. Super nice staff as well! Highly recommend!”

“Our stay at Ocean View Lodge was overall decent. The best part was definitely the ocean view — being able to sit out on the balcony, relax, and listen to the ocean was really nice. The room itself was older, but it seemed well maintained and clean. The bedframe was a little damaged, but it didn’t affect our stay too much. “Greetings! My wife and I had such an amazing stay at Agate Cove Inn! We loved the cozy accommodations but staying in the Obsidian Room put it way over the top!! We also loved the convenience and closeness that the Inn is to town. We will most definitely be back, and will tell everyone who asks all about our awesome stay.
