“Firstly, we absolutely loved our stay! My husband and I came for an extended weekend to celebrate my birthday and loved the quiet, relaxing, tranquil setting. We spent several hours on the back porch reading and watching the waves crash against the rocks. The neighborhood was quiet and secluded and the host was friendly and communicative and responded quickly. That being said, there were several items we noticed throughout our stay that needed a little TLC and ultimately it’s why I dropped one...

“Had a great time with my bff and wanted a spot where we could walk to a few things. We went wine tasting one of the days and hike Hendy Woods one of the days. Some great food to walk to in town. Cabin has a cute little patio where you can hear the creek which would've been awesome to use if it weren't raining...we needed it so all good!”

“This cottage is sweet, and the owners vibe is caring and casual. There is a loft that is not available and the cleanliness is hit or miss, but it was fully stocked and comfortable. The common areas are wonderful just like the photos show. Appliances are aged but everything worked. Though it’s right off the highway it is quiet and sleeping was great; the queen is very comfortable. The view of the ocean is truly amazing and the general location is outstanding for proximity to beaches and the sea...

“Tadpole cottage was a sweet destination to chill in the countryside for a few days. Although the weather was hot and there is no air conditioning, the place stayed nice and cool at night and was easy to sleep. The ducks were so cute and personable we had a great hang. Town is close enough if you forget anything and there are plenty of great wineries on the road. Would certainly come back if I find myself in the neighborhood.”

“We planned to stay 10 days, there wasn’t a table to sit at or chairs if you wanted to eat meals. We appreciate some kind of household instruction for watching t.v., using the air conditioning unit or operating the locks when exiting. This would be a good place to stay if you didn’t plan on any time in the unit. Also a good wind came up and the shredded patio umbrella collapsed. We left early.”

“We love Sea Ranch and this place was as wonderful as the setting. The check-in process was very easy (a lockbox at the door vs having to drive to the office in Gualala as some other houses require). The deck faces the meadow and hills in the back, which is lovely, and there is a small side deck with a peek of the ocean. The home is clean, warm, light, and cozy with all the amenities of home. I would highly recommend it!”
