“We only had a short stay there but the hotel and rooms are spotless, staff friendly and helpful, excellent food and well stocked bar. Ample parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would love to go back again. Thanks guys and gals 👍”

Il personale gentile ma non troppo disponibile. L’ ultimo giorno avevo il treno alle sette ed ho chiesto per avere la colazione da portare via ,visto che il sabato iniziano tardi, alle sette. Ci hanno dato un sacchettino piuttosto “imbarazzante”. Forse era meglio evitare…”

“Staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed in the studio apartment, really nice and quiet. Ideal location to the York parkrun and if you like walking, 30 minutes walk to the centre. Definitely recommend 😊”

“Really great hotel with so much attention to detail. Record players in the room and a huge selection of records is a really nice touch. The Radio was on when we arrived to our room and the Pantry is generous & a really unique touch. Canadian lady on the Bar was knowledgeable & super friendly (Pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the extensive bar menu was priced). Just really really cool & great location.”

“Great experience. The building is quaint, cozy, with a unique design and interior decoration. Beautiful dining area and bar. The room (ground floor), was spacious and with a lovely art deco interior. Very nice shower with good water pressure, nice choice of shower gels and other amenities. “This hotel is beautiful. We originally booked a standard room which was tiny and had the most uncomfortable bed. The toilet was so close to the door the toilet roll holder was jammed to your leg and we are fairly average sized people. We decided to upgrade for the 2nd night and got a King deluxe which was amazing with a favourite roll top bath and separate shower. Much more spacious and the bed was firm but much better than the previous bed. Unfortunately the A/C wasn't working and made a...

“The real problem is that the spa is not working and that’s the reason why I stayed in the hotel. I should have been notified same way I got a message about how busy is the restaurant and that needs to be booked beforehand. ”
