An unforgettable stay – truly above and beyond! I rented in Thomasville for my family and it was the best choice I could’ve made! The property is exactly as shown in the photos — beautiful, clean, and located in a peaceful area. Halum was an exceptional host. He took care of every detail and even helped us find transportation and recommended the best places to visit. Nigel, his representative, went the extra mile by guiding us through everything and even printing out helpful information in Spanish for my family , something I truly didn’t expect! The area is quiet and safe, with stunning beaches nearby, supermarkets, and everything you need for a complete vacation experience. Thank you so much, Halum! We’ll definitely be back. If I could rate it 1000/5, I would!

Loved the amount of space, very clean and had all dishes that we required for cooking some nice meals. We found the traffic to be a littleLoud at night and the walk into town, although direct, a little long with lack of sidewalks. Overall we had a nice stay in the neighbourhood.

I absolutely loved staying here. The location was spectacular in a quiet neighborhood with lots of great wildlife. Wonderful walks in the morning around the neighborhood. The homeowner is extremely professional, very nice, and accommodating. I had an unexpected day extension and he was very obliging in letting me stay the extra night. Very thorough with your stay. Extremely clean facility everything was as expected and even a little bigger in person which is always a plus! The backyard gives you that at-home feeling which is a rare experience in such an amazing place for a vacation. You’ll have the pleasure of speaking with this gentleman on the phone before your arrival and you will feel right at home with how things work and receive helpful information about the island. The property manager and the optional taxi driver were spectacular. I used to the same driver all week long, wherever I needed to go on the island and felt very comfortable and safe. I will be booking my next return to the island here. I would recommend Thomasville to anyone who asks where to stay! Thanks again Hallum for a terrific experience!!

We went to Worthing Beach everyday, and it was very close. Very close to St. Lawrence Gap as well, which had tons of cute breakfast and dinner places. Nigel, who took care of the property since Halum doesn’t live here, is extremely helpful and kind!! He was lovely. It was a great vacation.

Owner was great with communication and told us everything we needed to know. There were 4 of us and the place was plenty big enough for us. It has everything you need. The only small issue is the noisy main road that backs on to where the bedrooms are. But you get used to that.

The place was nice and clean and modern. Great value for the price. The owner friendly and accommodating. The only reason for not perfect stars is that the walk to a beach is doable but longer than advertised and pretty much have to walk on the very busy street of traffic with no sidewalks to get there. VRBO advertised that there was an outdoor barbeque grill, which there is not which we would have loved, and upon arrival there was no coffee maker however we did receive one the next day which we appreciated. Overall we loved our trip to Barbados and found everyone to be super kind and friendly.

We brought my 3 year old with us for her first family vacation . We absolutely loved this rental. There were bunk beds for her to sleep on and beach toys for her to play with. Very cute rental ! It was very clean and the location was great! I would definitely recommend anyone coming to Barbados to stay here. The kitchen was fully stocked . We were able to go grocery shopping and cook our own few meals though-out the two weeks. Overall I was very happy with our stay

The property was very nice with a back yard and lovely front porch. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and had good storage space in the bedrooms. It is situated in a pleasant, relatively quiet neighbourhood. We found the main road leading down to the beach and main street rather narrow and dangerous for daily walking as there are no sidewalks and the cars drive very quickly.

This was a perfect property for us to stay in. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils necessary. Just bring your own spices! The AC in the bedrooms made it comfortable for sleeping. The front porch was a great way to start your day with a coffee and the birds with morning sun. We loved it!! A car was beneficial because sidewalks are not abundant on the island. It was a short drive to all amenities including groceries, beaches and airport. We would love to return!

We just got him from Halum’s property & would gladly stay there again. It is a family-friendly space & great value for the money. We appreciated that the home had a washer, children’s beach toys, great wifi, and lovely ACs in the bedrooms. The beds were comfy, the tiling was lovely, and the patio worked really well for us. The location was also a nice residential neighbourhood waking distance to two grocery stores. We had a bit of a struggle the first week learning how to walk along the busy main road with disappearing sidewalks & a baby, but ended up finding our way. Halum & Nigel were very responsive & took good care of us. We didn’t have any problems with water shortages, but did have a problem with water drainage in the shower which we were able to work around & let Nigel know about when we departed. Thank-you & hope to stay with you again!

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Even as the location is convenient for nearby restaurants, groceries and beach we did not chance walking on a very busy road and opted to use a rented car. The apartment itself needs some attention - bath shower head puts more water on the walls than your head - kitchen could do with some new cookware especially frying pan - kitchen cupboard drawers need some adjustments to make sure they are easy to pull open They sometimes felt that they were disconnected from their runners . - There were 2 chairs and a pull out sofa in the living area but one chair was broken and could not be used - Washing machine took more than 3 hours to complete a single load. The location of the apartment close to the main highway makes for a noisy environment day and night even with the windows closed. The apartment comes with bunk beds in the second bedroom but we had no use of this room.

We stayed here for two weeks in February and we had a good time. If you Google for the apartment, search for Rendezvous Gardens. That will get you close enough. A search for 1st Avenue may direct you to a different location. The apartment has everything needed for self-catering including pots, pans, utensils, towels, and linens and washer etc. Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms, which makes for a comfortable sleep. The rest of the apartment is cooled by fans and windows. The windows have screens so mosquitoes with open windows are not a problem. TV and Internet access are more than adequate. The location is very convenient to the grocery store down the street and to most of the island’s attractions and beaches. Nigel was very helpful in getting us acclimated to the apartment and the area. The cost was very reasonable given the prices of other places that are closer to the beach. With a car you can easily get to many of the beaches on the island, or just a few minutes walk down the road. Due to the prolonged sewage overflow problem down the street, we elected to drive to other parts of the island to go to the beach and for swimming. The parking spot in front is tight, but most rental cars are small and will fit. We did notice some road noise from cars from the bedroom, but it didn’t keep us up. The location is also susceptible to periodic water outages, but it seems to come back the next day. There are buckets in the apartment that might be worthwhile to fill up for use during those periods, just in case; we were a bit unprepared for one of the outages. Seems that periodic water outages are not uncommon around the island. In general, we had a good time and really don’t have any complaints about the apartment

My young family and I had the pleasure of staying at Halum's apartment in Christ Church in January 2018. The apartment is in an excellent location, both in a quiet and safe neighbourhood and walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and beautiful Worthing beach (Dover and Accra beaches are also very close). I would recommend this apartment to those looking for a pleasant alternative to resort vacations. I look forward to our next vacation in Barbados :)

We've been to Barbados many times before and I can honestly say this is in the top three of our accomadation list. Apartment was safe, clean and tidy. Well-equipped kitchen, fully-functioning air con and fast wi-fi. Good location, short drive to shops and beaches. Whenever anything came up then we always got as much help as we needed from Nigel, who is the property manager in Halum's absence. Our sincerest thanks to Halum and Nigel. We recently returned from our Barbados vacation. Our 8-night stay at the Thomasville Apartment was enjoyable. What can I say? Halum you were right...we loved it! The property is well-maintained, clean, located in a lovely neighborhood that provides ease of access to several of Barbados' most beautiful beaches and other fun activities. The Property Manager, Nigel, is superb. He is professional, courteous, and extremely responsive. We look forward to staying here again!

I stayed for a week at the end of April with my wife and 2 year old daughter. We will definitely return! The apartment was basic but had everything we could possibly need for a week long stay. The kitchen was well equipped with all appliances and utensils you could possibly need. The internet connection is fast, we streamed Netflix on one evening in HD quality no problem. The 2 bedrooms have good aircon, the rooms were cool within 10 minutes of switching on and they both have ample storage space. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle which was nice after a long day at the beach. Walking down the main road towards shops and beach was easy, although daunting at first, especially with a child in a buggy. The path is broken in places, however 1 trip down was enough to realise that the drivers are very courteous and careful negotiating in around pedestrians. The supermarket is 10 minutes walk, the beach 15 to 20 depending on where you go but i recommend turning left at the bottom of the road and going along to the main part of Worthing beach that has showers, sunbeds and a beach bar, restaurants nearby....oh and lots of turtles swimming around! Halum was very helpful and answered questions very promptly. The taxi driver arranged by Halum, Dabs, was great and we called on him during our stay for trips out. Nigel the property manager was helpful and can be reached easily during your stay, not that we needed to. Overall I think we got a feel for the real Barbados staying here that we wouldn't have got in a hotel, not to mention a lot cheaper as this apartment is great value. We felt safe the entire time and I can honestly say that Bajans are the most friendly and welcoming people I have ever met. Calvin, Gina and Lola, England

We had a great time, the owner was available and on property during our stay and was very helpful.
